The Membership Committee of the Biophysical Society seeks
your advice regarding policies and activities of the Society that
influenced your decision to become a member and that you think
may be important in the recruitment of new members. We are starting
by considering benefits and categories of membership, the national
meeting, coordination with related societies, and international
cooperation. Please help us develop the agenda.

Changes in policy and projects underway will be described
on the WWW (http://biosci.cbs.umn.edu/biophys/com/member.html) and
in the Society newsletters that are mailed to all members.

We sincerely welcome your suggestions. Please send them to
us via E-mail at bps-member-incoming@biosci.cbs.umn.edu or by
standard mail to the address below. Many thanks,

        Madeline A. Shea
