I need to find one or more wearable sensors:
pulse meter, temperature, blood presure, oximetry...
my constraint is that these sensors must be light weight AND have
a RS-232 (serial) or USB interface so that I can connect
them to a patient wearing a mobile PC. I will build a specific software
to process data.
Does anyone know about companies with this kind of products?
Any help will be wellcome.

PLEASE READ THIS: my email is "espada@isdefe.es"

Dear all,

I am thinking in installing video facilities in an operating theatre to =
record open heart surgery and do some image processing with the =
resulting video.

Has anyone got any experience on what type of material is required:
is black & white CCD camera sufficient (it certainly is easier for image =
processing)?
Have you connected cameras to PCs via a network
Is anyone exploiting the images provided by the video camera?=20

thanks for any comments

Strokes and Heart Disease illustrates that life is messy and is NOT 100%
rational. If I designed the universe, everything would be either Good or
Bad. But, at last somebody else did. :-(

The prevention Stroke and CHD & CAD are mutually exclusive
activities.

Radical prevention of CHD & CAD increases the probability that you will get
Stroke. This is why an extremely low Total Cholesterol level is bad for
you. A TC level below 160 dramatically increases your likelihood of getting
a stroke.

This fundamental problem of the universe was solved by Aristotle's golden
doctrine of the MEAN. In the real world, Moderation ALWAYS makes more sense
than either EXTREMES of both EXCESS and DEFECT. Yes, sometimes readings in
ethics provides more practical wisdom than course work in the sciences. Us
philosophers knew what do about cholesterol before there was a Medline. :-)
