The University of Regina is seeking applications for a tenure-track
position in Biochemistry at the Assistant Professor level to commence July
1, 1999 (subject to budgetary approval).  Interested individuals should
have expertise in the area of protein biochemistry with experience in the
application of recombinant DNA methods to investigate the production,
function or structural features of proteins.  Research interests in the
faculty include: the preparation, function and structural characterization
of proteins; secretion of extracellular proteins; cellular consequences of
protein signalling; and protein drug interactions.  Applicants must have a
Ph.D. degree or equivalent, and preferably 2 years postdoctoral experience.
The successful applicant must be capable of mounting an original,
competitive, independent research program and have a commitment to
undergraduate and graduate teaching.  Send a C.V., an outline of proposed
