Good days, everybody ,
I have a question :
Why there is not transgenic pigs expressing human CR1 to Overcome
complement-mediated
hyperacute xenograft rejection ?
CR1 has extrinsic activity , i.e., it inactivates convertases assembled
on external
membranes, and it also exhibits intrinsic activity ,i.e., it inactivates
convertases
formed on the same membrane on which it is expressed. Among the members
of the RCA
family , CR1 is the only one that possesses dcay-accelerating activity
for both C3 and
C5 convertases in both the classical and alternative pathways,as well as
factor I
cofactor activity for the degradation of both C3b and C4b .

Would you please send me the plasmid containing the sequence for CR1 ?

Hi all,

I have recently taken over the moderation of the diagnost newsgroup and in
my enthusiasm to forward messages to the newsgroup forwarded a list of
diagnost recipient email addresses to the group. This list was intended for
administration use only and I apologise for making it public. I have
contacted Bionet support and they have cancelled the message from the
webpages and have attempted to recall the original posting.

Sorry once again.

Abcam has introduced a new 2-in-1 custom antibody production service that
increases the chances of your peptide antibodies recoginising your target
protein.

For further details please go to:

http://www.abcam.com/public/fs_base.cfm?sp=antibody_production.cfm

which outlines our custom antibody services.

Thinking of your new wardrobe for the summer? If you recommend us to a
friend who orders a custom antibody project from Abcam, then you and your
friend will both receive one of Abcam's phenomonally popular t-shirts.

Good luck with your research.

Hi,

It has been brought to my attention that junk messages are making their way
onto diagnost without being moderated by me. I have contacted bionet admin
to see if we can fix this.
