[Arabidopsis] Gentamycin selection

Hi All

I am working on some Arabidopsis plants carrying the gentamycin marker. 
For some reason, germination is bad on MS media. I would like to know 
if anyone has selected for plants on soil by watering with gentamycin 
mixed water or by applying a spray of gentamycin solution?

I really appreciate any suggestion in this regard.
