[Bio-information-theory] newbie netiquette question

Hello!

I'm a newbie to biological math, learning by meandering around the
literature available on the web (so much easier than when I was a
graduate student in chemistry in the 1970s). I've got a question I
haven't been able to answer that way, and it's pretty complex. My
post-in-preparation has grown to 5.5 KB, and it's in outline form.

Would it be bad netiquette to post it in HTML code with the outer
<HTML> and </HTML> tags removed? The reader could then re-assemble it
after seeing that it's safe.

Thanks for your time and consideration.
