CC Co-Editor: J. Shaw, Auburn, USA
CC
CC Aims and Scope:
CC Microbial Releases is an international journal devoted to the rapid
CC publication of original articles and comments on viral, bacterial or
CC fungal releases. 'Release' is defined, in the sense, as the
CC introduction of manipulated or non-manipulated micro-organisms into
CC the environment in either large or small quantities for a particular,
CC well-defined purpose. The journal covers not only these specified
CC aspects but also any model studies at the laboratory and microcosm
CC level and any developments in monitoring methods for future
CC releases.
CC The journal provides specialist researchers with a forum for their
CC studies and also a wide overview on questions, findings and concepts
CC in this field. It also initiates further research and helps to
CC evaluate the advantages and also risks of such microbial releases.

CC Joseph H. Nadeau (Bar Harbor, ME, USA)
CC Peter N. Goodfellow (Cambridge, UK)
CC
CC Aims and Scope:
CC The first journal devoted entirely to studies of the mammalian genome
CC from a molecular perspective, Mammalian Genome serves as a forum for
CC the community of mammalian geneticists, and as a means for the
CC dissemination of genetic information.
CC Mammalian Genome focuses on the experimental, theoretical, and
CC technical aspects of genome organization and evolution for mouse,
CC human and other mammalian species. The journal features frequent
CC publication of comprehensive summary reports, reviews on topical
CC areas of interest, and original papers that present novel findings in
CC all areas of mammalian genome research.
CC Special emphasis is placed on: genetic and physical maps; analysis of
CC gene complexes and complex traits; DNA sequencing as related to
CC genome organization; comparative gene mapping; new techniques;
CC informatics as related to genome analysis; and genetic analysis of
CC human genetic disorders and animal models.
