CC Aims and Scope:
CC The first journal devoted entirely to studies of the mammalian genome
CC from a molecular perspective, Mammalian Genome serves as a forum for
CC the community of mammalian geneticists, and as a means for the dis-
CC semination of genetic information.
CC Mammalian Genome focuses on the experimental, theoretical, and tech-
CC nical aspects of genome organization and evolution for mouse, human,
CC and other mammalian species. The journal features frequent publica-
CC tion of comprehensive summary reports, reviews on topical areas of
CC interest, and original papers that present novel findings in all
CC areas of mammalian genome research.
CC Special emphasis is placed on: genetic and physical maps; analysis
CC of gene complexes and complex traits; DNA sequencing as related to
CC genome organization; comparative gene mapping; new techniques; in-
CC formatics as related to genome analysis; and genetic analysis of
CC human genetic disorders and animal models.

CC Aims and Scope:
CC Histochemistry and Cell Biology is a journal devoted specifically to
CC the field of molecular histology and cell biology. Only original
CC articles dealing with the localization and identification of
CC molecular components, metabolic activities and cell biological
CC aspects of cells and tissues will be published. Papers are also
CC welcome that make a substantial contribution to the development,
CC application, and/or evaluation of methods and probes that can be
CC used in the entire area of histochemistry and cell biology.
CC Preference will be given to studies involving experimental
CC approaches and/or a variety of different methods that help to
CC characterize and quantify molecular constituents, dynamic properties
CC and functional aspects of cellular and extracellular structures.
CC
CC Please refer to a printed copy of the journals for details on the
CC ethical and legal regulations to which authors submitting manuscripts
CC to this journal must adhere.
CC
CC Subscription information:
CC Volumes 105-106 (6 issues each) will appear in 1996.
