Greetings,

Does anyone out there have or know of an antibody to the GLP-1 receptor?
Any information would be appreciated.

Heidelberg, 4-May-1999

Dear all,

We are pleased to announce the May release of the GPCRDB
(http://www.gpcr.org/7tm/).

For the first time, we have made an attempt to import GPCR
sequences from the TREMBL databank (Translation of EMBL entries).
The software to sensitively search for GPCRs in TREMBL was written
by Andreas Heger and Liisa Holm at the EBI.
(GPCRDBsup: http://circinus.ebi.ac.uk:8901/html/index.html)

The TREMBL entries contain less annotation than the
Swiss-Prot ones but their integration allow for a sizeable increase of
sequence data. 385 TREMBL entries describe GPCR proteins sharing
significant sequence homology with known GPCRS.

Since the 17th of March, we also provide cDNA sequences and the
corresponding pairwise alignments (protein/cDNA).

All the computationally derived data (alignments, CMA results,
phylogenetic trees) have been recalculated, as well as the snake-like
plots.
Thanks to the recent release of the tinyGRAP database version 7.0,
our snakes now provide access to data for 7600 mutations
(http://www-grap.fagmed.uit.no/GRAP/homepage.html).

For those who like numbers the server holds:

1513 GPCR sequences (incl.346 fragments)
 209 classes, families, sub-families, etc.
 199 Multiple sequence alignments
 179 Phylogenetic trees
1293 3D models by 7 depositors.

You can get this data via anonymous FTP (see http://www.gpcr.org/7tm/htmls/ftpinfo.html).

Please feel free to report any errors or omissions in the GPCRDB.

Greetings,

Florence Horn & Gerrit Vriend

content in-house can contact us.
