Rules for -R and -D for LongText

Hi all,

I have recently been struggling with renaming and deleting
objects that are LongText objects, notably Peptide objects.

Is there a neat piece of documentation somewhere that
says what to do here?

I have not been able to find such in my perusal of various
sources.
