Systems Approaches for Forest Management discussion at PSU (re-post)

All are welcome.  Refreshments will be provided.

Ken Franklin, Oregon Division of State Lands, will lead a discussion
of his use of systems dynamics and STELLA in the adaptive management
of forests as part of a total quality management program.
A report to the Clinton administration suggests that a more systemic
approach is needed for the management of forests.
Franklin is currently working on a paper titled "Adaptive Resource
Management: A Capacity Performance Perspective."

	accessible by Tri-Met bus.  For automobile drivers, it is OK
	to use PSU's parking structures for free (no permit is

	handicapped parking spaces.
