Laser Machining

I'm sure everyone has seen these small wood items that have intricate 
designs cut into them with a laser. I'm interested in doing that, perhaps 
as a small business. If anyone could put me on to contacts, either in 
regard to equipment or the business side, I would very much appreciate it.
