Need info on forest management software

Hi!
I am doing a research and evaluation on softwares for the efficient 
management of forestry and silviculture.  I would like to know if there is 
anybody out there who has had experience on using software for silvicultural 
management, and how good it has been.  Any recommendations in this will be 
deeply appreciated.
