I have three poplar trees, whose roots have spread across my drive way and are on their way to my septic field. Several surface roots have developed into little trees that are easily cut by my mower. But it looks like the roots are unstoppable and have sprouted new little trees. How do I kill the three poplars (chain saw massacre) and their roots once and for all?
