Hello,

I am very interested in the FORESTRY major at Berkeley as one that I may
like to pursue in the future. (I understand that Berkeley is rated no. 1
in the country for forestry.) I looked in a UCB course catalog the other
day, and the courses under the major all sound really interesting! But
what is a forester? What would someone do with a degree in forestry?
Actually, I've got a bunch of questions that I was hoping someone would
be able to answer for me:
-	What are the differences between a major in FISHERIES/WILDLIFE
MANAGEMENT at Davis and FORESTRY at Berkeley? Are the career
	oportunities for each very different?
-	What are the career opppurtunities for someone with a Master of
	Forestry degree?
-	What areas of specialty are there, and which are in the greatest
	demand?
-	What are the differences between the three subfields of forestry
offered at UCB: FOREST MANAGEMENT, WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT, and
	RANGE MANAGEMENT?
-	What does a forester do? I mean, how does the typical forester
	spend his or her days?

Answers to any of these questions will be very helpful! Thanks in advance...
(Plese send all responses to me via e-mail)
