Purchasers of hardwood

I work in agriculture extension.  A colleague of mine is working with 
a group interested in obtaining names, adresses and phone numbers of 
buyers of hardwoods in Canada and the U.S.  They would also like to 
know the dimensions and amounts required annually of the various types 
of hardwoods.

Does anyone know if this information is available and if so, who could 
we contact.
