I have tried (unsuccessfully) to plant linden trees from seed and to transplant seedlings from around a large tree. I have sought advice from our county ag. extension office, but it's not working. Can anyone please tell me what I might be doing wrong? In both instances I used a vermiculite/potting soil mix. Thanks for any help you can give me.
