Try your reference library for a couple of books entitled "Forestry on the
Hill" . This is a series of books on controvertial issues in Canadian
forestry such as biodiversity, clearcutting, pesticides, etc. They were
produced by the Canadian Forestry Association and contain a wide varoety of
opinion and fact from groups as diverse as macmillan bloedel, GreenPeace,
Wildreness Society, woodlto owners, educators andothers concernsed about our
forst resources. The best overview I've ever seen.

If there isn't a copy inthe Library you can reach CFA at (613)232-1815.
