Prescribed burns in coastal sage scrub

Anyone have experience with prescribed burns in coastal sage scrub in 
Southern California, please contact me.

Have you had good experiences working with county and city governments, 
state forestry department?  Have you had people oppose doing prescribed 
burns in coastal sage scrub?  What kind of post-fire management problems 
did you encounter?

Any information, experiences, caveats deeply appreciated.
