differential growth in mixed species plantations

I am seeking information relevant to my study on the effects of 
morphological characteristics such as leaf dimensions, leaf inclination, 
canopy architecture etc. and their effects on growth and biomass in a 
mixed species agroforestry plantation.
 
There are 16 species in the plot, and they are Australian rainforest 
cabinet timber trees, (there are a few exotics).

If anyone has any info or knows where I can get some I would much 
appreciate it.
