Scotch broom seed banks

Does anyone know what sort of seed banks broom produces?

I'm interested in looking at fire restoration of Garry Oak 
savannahs and am wondering what sort of effect fire will have on
the broom populations ie exhausting the seed banks. 

If anyone is doing this type of work or knows references that may
be useful, please let me know.
