hi, good luck with your enquiry but I regret I can only offer this
contribution.
leaf colour changes from year to year depending on wet and cold weather
patterns though of course within a species range
due to global warming fall pictures to be used in future need to be
taken in an especially hot and dry year though there will be short runs
of cooler years younger folk will not remember the colours of and older
ones will find more refreshing. A spectrophotometer analysis of colour
and infra red panoramic photograph shades may prove interesting as of
course computers can morph old pictures to suit changing or different
climates when predominant tree species are the same. Any interest to
you?
best regards, Les
