I need to test sap-sugar content in aprox 100 hard maples. I have a couple of forestry catalogs that sell these refractometers with temp compensation for around $175. I wanted to check here before buying in the hope of getting some alternate sources, or, perhaps, a not needed unit for sale? Thanks; paul at panix.com
