Research Officer (RSII): salary scale stlg21,016 - stlg31,269
The Department seeks a Research Officer to work in the Oxford Forestry
Institute to contribute to the successful MSc course "Forestry and its
relation to land use" and to undertake relevant research.  The post
holder will also contribute to the Institute's overseas development
consultancy activities and to the professional course programme of
continuing education.  The successful candidate will have a PhD plus
relevant experience in fields related to land use and forest policies,
institutions, socio-economics and forest management.  The appointment
will be for three years in the first instance renewable for two,
subject to satisfactory performance.
