No personal experience, but you might want to check with the helpful folks at
the Therion Corporation in Troy, NY. They've done DNA analysis for 350+
different ANIMALS, and perhaps they can direct you to a company doing similar
work with plants. They've done a lot of work in the field of Conservation
Biology.
