Envoy is the nations largest health care (EDI) Electronic Data Interchange
corporation that process over 12 million claims monthly. Responsibilities
include: Troubleshooting software vendor's, Hospital's and Provider's data
communications and computer systems over the phone, Instructing Clients in
the use of National Standard Format, Medical Claims Distribution System,
Health Claims Distribution System, Commserver and ANSI X12 837 formats of
data transmission. Trained in (GTEDS) General Telephone Electronic Data
Services, ISPF, File Aid, ERA and SAR (which are interfaces to extract data
from the GTE mainframe) as well as Job Control Language (JCL), Accuclaim
and various communications protocols and applications. Created a Customer
Service Intranet to provide accurate and timely information in a Help Desk

Watershed Projects and Recreation Coordinator 

Worked in conjunction with TVA, EPA, TWRA, Corps of Engineers, Natural
Resource Conservation Service, and several contractors to develop
recreation access, non-point source pollution control sites, and
alternative fuel crop plots on Duck River. Set on a committee in charge of
developing two environmental impact statements for developments on the Duck
River as well as worked with environmental engineers in identification and
mapping/ Data base development of environmentally hazardous and protected
sites. Was an active participant in Tennessee's Non-Point Source Pollution
Watershed Advisory Group. Provided technical support for Geographic
Information Systems employees of the Duck River Agency. Developed layouts
and schematics with Arc/View and Corel Draw of 6 recreational sites along
the Duck and Buffalo River.

10/92-1/96 Tennessee Duck River Development Agency Shelbyville, Tennessee 

Geographic Information Systems Technician/ Coordinator 

Authorized to develop a Regional Geographic Information System for use in
recreational and economic development in the Duck River watershed. Created
maps and public relations materials and brochures for mass production and
distribution. Acted as the Coordinator in charge of budgeting, training and
supervision of 4 employees, quality control of data, data acquisition,
digitizing maps, conversion processes, and all computer configuration and
purchasing. Integrated RAS through Windows 95, NT and PC Anywhere ( DOS and

Learned the process of creating a soil survey by GIS and Field level
mapping. Created soil and soil type overlays for use in scanning in to LT
Plus a raster to vector transformation program. Used field mapping data to 
accurately steroscope soil type on low resolution aerial photography and
topographic maps.
