Dear Red:

In the Pacific Northwest, since the spotted owl crises, irrigation has
become a way to provide wood pulp for paper. Wood pulp has replaced
more than 10,000 acres of irrigated vegetable production. Irrigation is
not cheep but it is effective in increasing production in any location
where wood production encounters moisture stress. Boise Cascade is the
processor for the local irrigated wood pulp production.

Mark, from the land of the Mighty Columbia!!
