On closer inspection, only the largest trees (3' diameter and greater)
have been tapped, but this pre-dated the farm's current ownership and must
have been at least 20 years ago.  There are many trees in the 12" to 24" range
which have not been tapped leading me to suspect that the last time the
trees were tapped, those trees that are 24" now were less than 12".
