Bachelor of Applied Forest Resource 
Management Program
Department of Science and Technology
Grande Prairie Regional College
Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada

Position:
Full-time Forestry Instructor
(Timber Harvesting, Engineering and/or Mensuration) 

Qualifications:
The program is looking for a highly-motivated 
individual to take on the challenges of developing
and teaching in this new program.  The ideal candidate
must have a minimum of a Master's degree in 
timber harvesting/forest engineering and a good 
background in forest mensuration; or a Master's degree
in forest mensuration with a good background 
in timber harvesting/forest engineering.
Relevant industry experience and excellent 
communication skills are highly desirable.
Individuals with a PhD and a focus in these areas
and relevant teaching and practical experience are preferred.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include teaching and participation in
the development of the program.

Starting Date:
The position will begin January 1, 1999 
and is renewable subject to favorable evaluation.
