THE ROLE AND IMPORTANCE OF TREES AND FORESTS TO THE KHAMBA TIBETAN PEOPLES

I have just started a PhD on this subject and would welcome any dialogue
with anyone with an interest in this area.

I hope to examine development theory, the effect of modernisation and the
market economy on the Khamba Tibetan peoples, Tibetan indigenous
knowledge, Tibetan & Chinese conservation ethics pre & post 1950 ,
Tibetan social organisation and livelihood strategies, Tibetan
Folk/Buddhism and Chinese Daoism & Confucianism, and research methods for
gathering ethical and indigenous knowledge.

If you know of contacts/papers addressing any of these areas please let me
know.
