i rely on the expertise of fellow foresters (albeit most of them are in the
states) to aid me in decision making processes.

i think the internet is a great way for foresters in different parts of the
planet to interact - share thoughts, ideas, etc.

i have found through past experience that the most knowledge in this
business is gained through communication.  Sadly, many don't know how to
communicate;  those that do are usually a few steps further than their
colleagues.
