What mediterranean forest?
There is no such a thing as a forest, maybe a cluster of twisted trees here
and there where tourism infrastructure has not mushroomed.
In Corsica where 50% of the land is made of forest this type of 'forest' is
actually a "maquis" : bushes made of cork oak, eucalyptus, myrthus communis and
other shrubs. It has a distinctive nice smell but I don't think you can exploit
it. The people of the island can't even go through it, only wild bores reign in
it.
