The racing saws are called "hot saws" and are good for a few cuts and then need to be thoroughly checked out and/or rebuilt. As for production alcohol chain saws, I have never heard of anything. I am guessing that the extra heat created by burning alcohol would burn the saw up rather quickly. Please let me know if you find anything out. BACKCUT at aol.com
