pam-well,as a parks worker in calif.,i take care parks with cork oak as park
trees.they seem to do pretty good and there are some fine trees.this is
here in the central valley with mild winters and hot summers.there are
sprinklers watering during the summer.there is one cork oak in the
foothills that i know about,because of it history and it seems to be
doing great.i couldn't begin to tell you the grade of cork.i hope this
helps you.
