The mind boggles.  You mean they have to catch you with it on your fork?

"Honest officer, that flank steak on the barbecue is dog food."

Unless you are into French cuisine, it's unlikely you will eat horsemeat 
very often anyway.  It's the illogic of the thing that baffles me.
