Funding for Masters in Tropical Forestry

My son Ben is working for the Nepal Agroforestry Foundation. He doesn't 
earn much, being paid at local salary only. He has a place to read for his 
Masters Degree at Oxford next October - but no funding.

Can anyone suggest where he might apply? Are there any international 
sources of funding for the sort of work he's interested in and doing now: 
low technology, community-based sustainable forest and tree management 
research?

He can be contacted direct via <naf at ccsl.com.np> but doesn't have full 
internest access. I'm able to surf the web from work for him.
