Low-Grade Markets, Oil Subsidies

If crude oil and heating oil prices keep rising we may get a return to
solid fuels like the 70's again. If we'd only spent as much time on
solid fuels to make them safer and more efficient we might have been
able to keep markets open for some low grade hardwoods.
In our last sale the loggers didn't even take the marked Black Locust.
That's fine, it'll be good fuel.
Does anyone out there burn wood in any of the newer types of furnaces?
