The same intervention is making its way into agriculture in the Midwest.
Its no more than another federal defacto "control taking".
First it's navigable waters, then it's 300' feet, then it'll be the
whole watershed. Unless of course it's for developement then it's ok
because of jobs.
It's planned obsolescence of small businesses that are tied to land
based activities. If these small businesses can be "regulated" out of
business, then the remaining large ones can be better controlled without
public sympathy.

In the end, it's who your connections are at the "controlling agency"
that matters.
