Christmas trees

According to news reports in The Oregonian, the Christmas tree harvest
is in full swing in Clackamas County, Oregon, which grows more
Christmas trees than most states. Production is nearly all spoken for
already, and classified advertising for Christmas trees are apppearing
in The Oregonian as well. Prices are up approximately $1 from last
year, and growers are happy.

Many of these growers may also have truffles growing under their
Douglas fir Christmas trees, but are unaware they exist or what they
look like. Thus, they are losing another marketable product which
cannot exist without live Douglas fir near by.
