OREGON FIRES
Large wildfires are scattered across Oregon, adding obstacles to
summertime driving. Officials warn of smoke and reduced visibility in
many parts of the state and advise vacation travelers to call their
destination to check for local closures and restrictions.
Specifics:
- U.S. 20 from junction with Oregon 22 to Sisters reopened to traffic
at reduced speed.
- U.S. 199 is closed at the California borner because of fires in
California.
