Aubrey de Grey has posted an essay on the web explaining the bones of his
mitochondrial theory of aging, for which he is a published author (e.g., in
BioEssays). His essay is highly informative, the url is:

At the same site, Roy Walford MD has posted a remarkable, very up to date
synopsis on caloric restriction and anti-aging mechanisms. Dr. Walford has
published over 300 articles in peer reviewed scientific journals. He has
also written a series of academic and popular press books on gerontology and
life extension that are accessible to the genereal public. Information is at:

http://www.walford.com

There is also an essay on the telomere theory of aging by Mike Fossel. Dr.
Fossel has spearheaded much public interest and debate in the area of
telomere research and aging. He is author of "Reversing Human Aging".

The same web site also has a newly completed archive of Longevity-Digest
posts. Longevity-Digest is an E-mail list about the biology and chemistry of
aging.
