Telomeres, clones

Hi Folks,
	Just a couple questions from an interested bystander here.
	Is there any significance to the reports of short telomeres
	observed in some clones?
	Has anybody looked into telomere lengths in clones of clones?
	And finally is there any theoretical basis for thinking telomeres
	might be relevant in aging research?
