Could anybody help us to find out in which article appeared for the
first time the name "Nereididae" instead of the former "Nereidae"?
The oldest reference we found was Pettibone (1971), but she did not
mention neither justified the use of the new name. So that, we trust
there must be some older citation. If someone knows the reason for this
change in the name, we would appreciate very much to receive this
information.
