Hypersaline polychaetes

Dear Lawrence and all,

I have collected Sabellidae ( a new species of Fabriciinae) from 
seasonally inundated inland salt lakes in south-west Western Australia at 
37 to 49 ppt salinity, but these lakes have probably not had connection to 
the sea since the mid-Miocene and even then they were part of an 
extensive river system rather than coastal lagoons or anything.
