Dear colleagues,
We are currently working on a collection of polychaetes from Coiba Island
(Pacific, Panama). Now, we have to face some problems with sabellid
taxonomy that cannot solve by ourselves, so we ask for some help from the
"polychaete community".
* Do anyone know where the type series of Megalomma circumspectum
Moore, 1923 is deposited? Perkins (1984) recorded one specimen from
Western Mexico, was this species subsequently recorded from the
Pacific? Information about presence of this species on Pacific coast of the
Americas (and material) would be extremely acknowledged.
* Could anyone provide us some specimens of Branchiomma
nigromaculata (specially from the Caribbean)?
