Hydroides identification

Just for the curious ... I have followed up the suggestions so far and not 
found a match. If sufficient other occurrences turn up I'll actively seek to 
get the species described, but meantime there's not a lot further I can do. 
Due to time factors I would hazard a guess that this animal settled on the 
boat (a visiting UK yacht) somewhere in the islands of the Pacific after a 
transit through the Panama canal. It hadn't arrived via Australia.
