Dear Oliver and everyone,
I am using this opportunity to draw everybody's attention to our review paper on
serpulid life histories that will be published in the 2001 issue of Oceanography
and Marine Biology Annual Review

2001 LIFE-HISTORY PATTERNS IN SERPULIMORPH POLYCHAETES: ECOLOGICAL AND
EVOLUTIONARY PERSPECTIVES. Oceanography and Marine Biology Annual Review
The review is the most comprehensive compilation of published and unpublished
information on the life history of serpulids and spirorbids world-wide. Reviewed
are sexuality patterns, morphology of gametes, fecundity, spawning,
fertilization biology and self-fertilization, development of feeding and
non-feeding larvae, larval morphology, aspects of larval ecology and behavior
such as swimming, photoresponse, larval feeding and defences, types of parental
care, settlement and metamorphosis, asexual development, longevity and
mortality.
Please let me know if you want to receive the reprint of the review.
Wormly,
Lena
