The magazine "Microscopy Today" has an informative article entitled:" The
use of confocal lasser-scanning microscopy (clsm)and 3D reconstruction for
systematic zoology-On the phylogeny of the Echiura".
The author is R. Hessling <hessling at biologie.uni-osnabrucek.de>
The article includes several illustrations including whole body image,
neurons, and 3D models of the ventral nerve cord of Bonellia viridis. The
author's findings "support the classification of the Echiura as a subtaxon of
Annelida".
