Just a further comment to Linda's information. Notice that in many
airports the safety measures concerning hand-carry luggage became
quite strict. No forceps or scissors of any kind are allowed aboard, and
this includes all kind of small dissection material.
Again, many inflamable materials are not allowed onboard (including
sprays), on your hand-carry luggage. So, be sure to contact the
airlines or the airport authorities before trying to go aboard with
your specimens. The confiscated material normally is not returned.
