the end of the story was not so fun.  Our friend got immediately a big 
problem of locomotion and he had a lot of difficulty to came back to the 
shore. His legs were partly paralyzed! Hopefully, for Marine Biology (and 
himself) these troubles disappeared few hours later.  

(few years after, I was more lucky (or less unlucky) when I encountered  
this Hermodice in Caribean, I used an other kind of container: my hand - I 
noticed that in an old paper!).   

To turn back to  Chris' problem, I've some memories that the large 
mediterranean Eunice aphroditois could have been sampled "hooked up by 
anglers"
